My tenure at Starbucks was defined by rapid growth and conistency in my teamwork and leadership. I began as a Barista during my senior year of high school and maintained my employment during my two years at College of Lake County. Balancing full-time course work with a fast-paced and demanding service role taught me how to manage both myself and others effectively. By May 2023, I was promoted to Shift Supervisor, entrusted with leading store operations and managing a team in a high volume environment. 

Key Achievements

Certified Starbucks Coffee Master

A distinction earned by demonstrating a deep commitment to coffee craft and community education. After completing rigorous, multi-level coursework through the Starbucks Coffee Academy (focusing on ethical sourcing, roast profiles, and brewing craft), I curated and led a final coffee tasting presentation for store leadership. As a Coffee Master, my role extended beyond daily operations to actively cultivating curiosity, mentoring fellow partners, and fostering a sense of community through regular educational tastings.

Partner of the Quarter (FY23 Q1) 

Recognized out of the entire store team for significant contributions to the café's operational success and cultural environment. This award highlights partners who consistently demonstrate leadership and a commitment to the Starbucks mission.
