The UP 447 Land Use Planning Workshop was an immersive studio that applied land use and urban design principles to local jurisdictions. As a direct continuation of UP 347 (Junior Planning Workshop), this course focused again on Park Ridge, IL with more emphasis on neighborhood districts within the city.
This project presents the culmination of my work across this workshop.
Conducted a neighborhood-scale site inventory combining ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp Pro, and InDesign.
Packed the full semester's work into a comprehensive Master Plan designed to revitalize the urban environment.
Proposal of a strategic infill redevelopment, streetscape intervention, and public gathering space.
Communicated design interventions through conceptual parti diagrams, a written program, and scale orthographic representations.
